About Me

Hi, I am Reana, a passionate student of The British School New Delhi with interests ranging in law, economics, history, and policy making. My driving force to begin a non-profit organisation with the initiative to seek to marginalised communities stems from my amplified dedication to humanitarian rights and policies across the world.

The Problem

In many parts of India, young people, specifically those from marginalized backgrounds, face significant barriers to political participation. Limited access to education, economic opportunities, and resources often leave them feeling disenfranchised and disconnected from the political process. As a result, their unique perspectives and insights are often overlooked in government decision-making, perpetuating cycles of marginalization and exclusion

Our Solution: YOUTH EMERGE

YOUTH EMERGE is a grassroots initiative dedicated to empowering young individuals from all walks of life to participate in politics and governance actively. Inspired by the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment, YOUTH EMERGE seeks to amplify the voices of marginalized youth and ensure their meaningful representation in political discourse.

Our Goals

  • Inspire Political Engagement: We aim to inspire young people to engage in political processes and policy-making by demystifying complex political concepts and fostering a sense of civic duty and responsibility.
  • Build Agency: Beyond voting, we strive to equip young individuals with the knowledge, skill, and confidence to actively participate in politics beyond the ballot box. Through mentorship, training, and leadership development programs, we empower them to become agents of change in their communities.
  • Foster Community: At the heart of YOUTH EMERGE lies a commitment to building a supportive and inclusive community of politically engaged youth. By connecting young individuals with like-minded peers and mentors, we provide a platform for collaboration, solidarity, and collective action.
